Given the large number of participants and the fact that there is no parking available, it is essential to prioritize public transportation to access the site during the event.

We strongly suggest travelling by metro to get to the site.

Société de transport de Montréal (stm.info)

  • With the Jean-Drapeau métro station on line 4 – Yellow located near the circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, the métro will be the best means of transportation to participate in the activities. Plan your trip directly on our app F1GPCanada.
  • An increased traffic at the fare counter is expected at Longueuil-Université-de-Sherbrooke, Berri-UQAM and Jean-Drapeau métro stations. Buy your return fares in advance to avoid queues.
  • Please note that the STM strike will not affect service during the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix weekend. For more information, please refer to the STM website.
  • Did you know? You can now buy transit fares and add them on your OPUS card via the Chrono mobile app.

  • Option : Reserve your parking spot near a metro station with our official partner clicknpark
  • Other options of incentive parkings : ARTM, EXO, REM.

Three drop-off points for cabs and Uber will be set up. 

  • Parking P8 of La Ronde (St-Hélène Island) – From here, you can walk to the site (Cosmos and Concorde entrances).
  • 1108 Marc-Cantin street – From here, you can take a shuttle to the Casino.
  • Parking de l’écluse (St-Lambert) – From here, you can walk to the Victoria entrance. The Victoria Bridge is an entry point for spectators from the South Shore, reserved for sections T10, T11, T12 and the CGV terrace. Please note that access is by foot, bicycle or drop-off only.

No cabs, Ubers or vehicles without a parking pass will be accepted on the Concorde Bridge or Avenue Pierre-Dupuy.

Bicycle parking will be available at the following locations:

  • Espace 67 (near Jean-Drapeau metro exit) – reception area for Concorde and Cosmos entrances.
  • Avenue Pierre Dupuy (near 2160 Pierre-Dupuy street)
  • Stationnement de l’écluse (St-Lambert)*

Bixi stations will also be available:

  • Hélène de Champlain (200 Chem. du Tour de l’isle – for Cosmos and Concorde entrances)
  • Pierre Dupuy avenue (near 2160 rue Pierre-Dupuy). From here, a shuttle bus will take you to the site (Casino entrance).

We strongly advise you to check the availability of Bixi terminals. We cannot guarantee parking or Bixi availability.

*Only ticket holders for grandstands 10, 11, 12, the CGV terrace and Privilège 12 will be allowed to use this route. The promoter reserves the right to refuse access to anyone without a valid ticket for one of these areas.

Bicycles, scooters and skateboards are not permitted on the site.

You can get to the Île-Notre-Dame by river shuttle from Longueuil and the Old Port of Montreal. For the Île St-Hélène dock, you can walk to the Espace 67 entrance (for Cosmos and Concorde bridge entrances).

For parking pass holders only – Élite Suite, Platforms 41A and 21A

  • Place the parking pass on the windscreen and prepare your tickets. It’s very important to have your pass in plain view before you arrive at the checkpoint.
  • Take Avenue Pierre-Dupuy to the Casino de Montréal for the Élite Suite. Follow the signs to the Casino parking lot.
  • For platform 41A, take avenue Pierre-Dupuy and take the first exit on the right after crossing the river.
  • For platform 21A, use the Cosmos Bridge.

Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is located on Île Notre-Dame and has 4 entrances:

  • Cosmos Bridge
    Cosmos Lounge, Terrace 21, T21, 21A, T15, T24, T46, T47, T34, Terrace 34, and T31
  • Concorde Bridge
    Site access, 41A, TFam, T32, T1, T16, T17, Terrace 1978, T10, T11, T12, CGV Terrace, and Toundra
  • Victoria Bridge
    • T10, T11, T12, CGV Terrace, Privilège 12
    • The Victoria Bridge is an entry point for spectators from the South Shore.
    • Only ticket holders for grandstands 10, 11, 12, the CGV terrace and Privilège 12 will be allowed to use this road. The promoter reserves the right to refuse access to anyone without a valid ticket for one of these locations.
  • Casino de Montréal
    Loge Podium, Club Podium, Chalet Platine, Club Senna & Privilège Senna.

The best way to get to the event is by metro.
