Do children need to have a ticket? 

Anyone present in the stands, terraces, or general admission area must be able to show their ticket at all times, including children.

Please note: the presence of children aged (2) and under is not recommended, especially due to the crowd and the intensity of the ambient noises. At all times, the child must be under the supervision of an adult. They require a ticket according to municipal by-laws.

Child Pricing

  • For general admission: We consider children aged 11 and under to occupy an available seat. However the ticket is free of charge. Limit of one child ticket per adult present.
  • For the Family Grandstand:  We consider children aged 11 and under to occupy an available seat, therefore they must also have a ticket.  However, they are entitled to a 25% discount on the regular price in the Family Stand.  Limit of one child per adult.

Please note: Each member of the family must have a ticket to be able to attend the event.

How and when do I pay for my passes?

The preferred method of payment is by credit card. If you wish to pay by bank transfer or cheque, please contact the ticketing department at info@gpcanada.ca.

What is your return/exchange policy?

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.

Please note that event dates and times are subject to change.

Octane Racing Group (ORG) reserves the right to cancel the event with no obligation other than to refund the price of the unused portion of the ticket or pass, upon presentation of the ticket or pass only. No partial or total refund of the ticket or pass, or exchange of the ticket or pass for any reason (including malfunction of the giant screens, displacement of a tier, suite, or other reasons) will be granted unless the event is canceled before it has begun. Service fees are non-refundable.

When will I receive my tickets/passes?

Your electronic tickets/passes will be emailed to you by the end of April. Please let us know of any changes to your e-mail address by this date.

Is it possible to change my physical or e-mail address once a reservation has been made?

Yes, for any change of address, please contact us by e-mail at info@gpcanada.ca.

Is it possible to buy a single-day pass?

For grandstand tickets , passes are valid for three days, except for grandstand 47, which can be purchased per individual day. General admission tickets can also be purchased per day or for three days. Please note that Terrace tickets are sold in 3-day packages only.

Does the same person have to attend all 3 days?

No, you will receive a different ticket for each day of the event. Tickets are not nominative. You are free to distribute them or use them for yourself. Please note that even if you have weekend passes, you can only access the site with the pass corresponding to the correct day.

Until what date can additional passes be purchased?

Tickets may be purchased up to the time of the event, subject to availability. Please note that additional tickets may not be available for seats already assigned to a previously purchased reservation.

Can I choose my seats?

If you have a preference, please let us know and we will ll do our best to accommodate your wishes. However, we cannot guarantee that the requested seats will be available, as seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make a reservation as soon as possible.

Can I book a hotel and my tickets at the same time?

Their individual packages include many accommodation options. In addition, all packages can be adapted to personalize your stay and make your experience even more unforgettable.

Can I buy tickets from a third party?

We guarantee the validity of tickets purchased on the official website of Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix, Gooticket, Grand Prix Tickets, F1 Experience and F1.com.

We cannot confirm the validity of tickets not purchased on those websites.

Can I resell my ticket at the entrance of the site?

No, you cannot resell your ticket on the circuit forecourt.

How do I purchase a Suite?

To purchase individual Suite tickets or reserve a business suite, please contact the Suites and Corporate services department at loges@gpcanada.ca.

Do children need to have a ticket? 

Anyone present in the suites must be able to show their ticket at all times, including children.

Child Pricing

All children under the age of 15 are considered to occupy an available space in the loge or shared area (restaurants) and must therefore have at all times one of the daily passes provided for this purpose at all times at the regular price.

Please note: Each member of the family must have a ticket to attend the event.

How and when do I pay for my passes?
  • For individual Suites: Upon reservations, an invoice will be issued, and payment will be due within 7 to 30 days of purchase, or sooner if the purchase is made closer to the event date, since no passes will be issued unless full payment is received.
  • For group suites: A deposit payable by bank transfer or cheque equivalent to at least 50% of the total amount is due 30 days after booking. The balance is due on March 1st  of each year.
What is your return/exchange policy?

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.

What food is served, and how do I order it?

Food and beverages are included with individual packages, but food and beverages are not included in the case of the Elite and Podium Suites. You’ll be able to order and customize your choices. Please note that all food and beverages must be ordered from our official caterer.

Approximately 60 days before the event, managers who have reserved a private Suite will receive the available options. You will have a few weeks to finalize your choices. It will be possible to make last-minute additions or orders on site, subject to availability, but additional charges will apply.

What if I have food allergies and/or special dietary requirements?

For Suites: Please let us know about your food allergies or your special dietary requirements at the following e-mail address loges@gpcanada.ca.  We will put the note on file and notify your section’s headwaiter. We also invite you to inform the headwaiter on site of any conditions or allergies you may have.

Can I bring gifts?

It is possible to bring gifts for your guests, however, there is no place available to store your gift inventory on site. It is therefore not recommended to bring too many gifts.

Can I decorate? How much display is allowed?

You can decorate your private Suite at your own expense. There are many possible options. Approximately 60 days before the event, managers who have reserved a private Suite will receive the options. You’ll have a few weeks to finalize your choices.

What is a host or hostess?

Hosts and hostesses will be assigned to the entrance of each Suite to validate access and respond to customers. If you have a private Suite, please note that you will be responsible for controlling access to your Suite (Elite or Podium) and that no host(ess) will be provided. However, our team will assign you an additional SERVICE pass, which can be given to your host. He or she will be responsible for welcoming your guests.

Is there a dress code for the Suites?

There are no formal dress codes for Suites. Depending on whether you are there for business or pleasure, dress as you see fit. For your comfort and that of your guests, keep an eye on the weather forecast. Some Suites, like La Toundra, require a bit of walking to get there, so we recommend you wear comfortable shoes or sandals.

Accommodations for people with reduced mobility?

Please note that the Suites are not adapted for people with reduced mobility. However, there are two grandstands adapted for people with reduced mobility at the following link: Accessibility -Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada – Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (www.gpcanada.ca)

There are 2 platforms adapted for people with reduced mobility. 21A is available for 3 days and 41 A for 3 days or single days. Platform ticket holders have access to parking included in the ticket price. For any questions, please contact cgravel@gpcanada.ca.

Where are the toilets located?
  • Suites pass holders : Each Suites has its own toilet exclusive to pass-holders.
Go to the venue : Loges Elite, Platforms 41A and 21A (Pont de la Concorde) 
  • Hang your parking pass on the rear-view mirror or windscreen.
  • Take avenue Pierre-Dupuy to the Casino de Montréal for the Elite loges and platform 41A. For platforms 21A and P17, enter via the Cosmos bridge.
  • For Elite suites, follow directions for Casino parking.
  • Turn right at the first exit after crossing the river for 41A.

  • Take a Taxi – cab
  • Tell the driver you have a Suite pass or tickets for the Senna area.
  • Take avenue Pierre-Dupuy to the Casino de Montréal landing stage.
Go to the venue : Bicycles and scooters

Bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are prohibited on site.

Go to the venue : Metro (Jean-Drapeau Station)

  • Take the metro to Jean-Drapeau station (yellow line, STM).
  • Allow :
    • 50 minutes from stations at the head of the line.
    • 25 minutes from a downtown station (Berri-UQAM station).
    • 15 minutes from Montreal’s South Shore (Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke station).
  • Option : Reserve your parking spot near a metro station with our official partner clicknpark
Which entrance should I use?

Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is located on Île Notre-Dame and has 3 entrances:

  • Cosmos Bridge main entrance
  • Concorde Bridge entrance
  • Casino de Montréal entrance

For all Suites except La Toundra, we recommend accessing the site via the Casino de Montréal entrance. Once on site, follow the signs to the right river shuttles. Directional signs will be visible, and staff will be on hand to guide you to your suite. For La Toundra, it’s best to access the site via the Concorde Bridge entrance.

For platform 41A, the grandstands in the Senna Zone, Grandstand 31 and Family Grandstand, we recommend the Pont de la Concorde entrance. For all the other grandstands and platform 21A, we recommend the main entrance of the Cosmos Bridge.

What can I bring onto the site : Permitted items

There will be a security check at the entrance to the site. To ensure everyone’s safety, the agents assigned to reception and security will check the contents of your bags. Please allow extra time to access the site. Please ensure that you do not have any of the following items in your possession.

  • Cameras (images for personal use only).
  • Items that do not disturb other spectators.
  • Strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs.
  • Cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes and/or vaporizers are permitted on site; however, in accordance with the Tobacco Act, smoking is strictly prohibited in the grandstands, Suites, Terraces and other enclosed areas.
  • You’ll find a small smoking area in each zone. Cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes and/or vaporizers are permitted on site, but smoking or vaporizing cannabis is prohibited. Furthermore, under the Tobacco Act, smoking is strictly prohibited in grandstands, sSuites, Terraces, and other enclosed areas. Please respect the designated smoking areas.
  • Coolers and backpacks permitted on site and must comply with the dimensions below. Grandstand ticket holders must place their cooler or bag under their seat.
    • Height: 22.8 cm (9 in.)
    • Length: 45.7 cm (18 in.)
    • Depth: 25.4 cm (10 in.)
What can I bring onto the site : Prohibited items
  • Alcoholic beverages purchased off-site.
  • Ladders/stepladders.
  • Bicycles and skateboards.
  • Firearms, edged weapons, and any other objects of a dangerous nature.
  • Umbrellas and other structures that may obstruct spectators’ view and/or jeopardize their safety.
  • Electrical equipment requiring the use of a generator.
  • Animals (except guide dogs and assistance dogs).
  • The organizers reserve the right to prohibit any manner or equipment deemed dangerous.
What are the rules for smokers?

You’ll find a small smoking area in each zone. Cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes and/or vaporizers are permitted on site, but smoking or vaporizing cannabis is prohibited. Furthermore, under the Tobacco Act, smoking is strictly prohibited in grandstands, sSuites, Terraces, and other enclosed areas. Please respect the designated smoking areas.

What is the site opening times?

The final site opening times will only be available a few weeks before the event. However, we usually open the site about an hour before the first on-track activity and close the site about an hour after the last on-track activity of each day. Suites opening times are the same as for the site, except for the Paddock Club. You will find the schedule at the following link when available.

What methods of payment are accepted on the site?

In order to accelerate the service at the food concessions, bars, terraces and stores we recommend using a debit or credit card for payment. Please note that there are no ATMs on site. 

Will you have a lost and found service?

Yes, we have a lost and found service. Once the event is over, you can contact customer service, who will take care of recovering lost items on site. After verification, the item will be returned to you by post, except in exceptional cases.

What if I have food allergies and/or special dietary requirements?

Special attention goes into curating our dietary offer on site. We strive to accommodate as many requirements as possible.  We take care to set up various food concessions to meet the requirements of as many people as possible.

For Suites: Please let us know about your food allergies or your special dietary requirements at the following e-mail address loges@gpcanada.ca.  We will put the note on file and notify your section’s headwaiter. We also invite you to inform the headwaiter on site of any conditions or allergies you may have.

Does my pass or ticket entitle me to access other areas?

Yes, your ticket and pass also give you access to the following zones:

  • Family Zone Located right next to the Family Grandstand, the Family Zone offers family-friendly activities and food concessions. A great way to fill the time between on-track activities and experience the Grand Prix as a family.
  • Heineken Terrace An oasis of rest and relaxation, the Heineken Terrace is located on the edge of a lagoon and offers visitors the perfect place to cool off. Please note that before accessing the terrace, coolers and their contents must be deposited in the locker located at the terrace entrance.
  • Parc & Cosmos Zone is overflowing with booths and activities for everyone. Official merchandise and partner booths share the center of the island and the Cosmos alley, offering visitors a wide range of items. The Park Zone is also home to the Monster Zone, featuring adrenalin-pumping motocross demonstrations.
  • Beach Zone located behind the Podium and Senna suites, is accessible to all ticket holders.
  • Support race paddocks Accessible to all spectators, the support race paddocks, located behind Grandstand 15, give visitors a closer look at the cars taking part in the weekend’s other events. An ideal place to stroll between track sessions and learn more about the world of motor racing.
Can I exit the venue during the day and come back ?

If you want to exit the site and come back, you need to get a stamp before you leave the site. If you do not get the stamp, you’ll not be allowed to reinter the venue.

Can I take photos and videos?

Personal electronic devices, including cameras, cell phones or other hand-held communication devices, are permitted on the site, provided that the films, images, recordings and data created and stored there are used for personal, private and non-commercial purposes only. All data and images, including photographs and images originating or that may originate from a recording (image) of the event that are recorded, stored and/or created on the site are used for personal, private and non-commercial purposes only.

Where are the toilets located?
  • Ticket holders : You’ll find toilets in every area near the grandstands, as well as accessible toilets near platforms 21A and 41A.
  • Suites pass holders : Each Suites has its own toilet exclusive to pass-holders.
What will the weather be like?

Usually, the weather in Montreal in June is pleasant, so sunglasses and sunscreen are very useful. On the other hand, unpredictable weather conditions may require a jacket or raincoat. You can check local forecasts on weather websites. Please note that umbrellas are accepted on site but cannot be opened when seated in a grandstand.

How do I get a souvenir program?

You can preorder your copy of the official 2024 program here : Official 2024 Program

A voucher will be sent at the same time than your mobile tickets in April.  You will then be able to redeem the coupon and get your physical copy at the event.  A digital version will also be available within the program.

The official program is available at various points of sale on site at a cost of $20 per copy.

Where can I buy souvenirs?

The Parc/Cosmos area is overflowing with kiosks and activities for everyone. Official merchandise kiosks and partners share the center of the island and Cosmos Alley, offering visitors a wide range of items.

In addition, please note that it is also possible for Suite clients to pre-order certain items for you and your guests. These can be delivered right to your Suite.

Is there free WI-FI access on site?

No, there is no free Wi-Fi network on the circuit, but Wi-Fi service is available in private Suites on request and at your expense.

Do we need a visa and are tickets useful when applying for one?

If you are coming from abroad by air, you need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). This is done directly on the Canadian government website: Electronic travel authorization (eTA): About the process. We advise you to apply at least 5 days before departure to avoid unpleasant surprises. Tickets will not affect your visa application, but you may wish to include them in your reasons for travel.

Is there a hashtag for social networks and an official Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix account to follow publications?

Yes, we have an official hashtag specific to the event #Canadiangp as well as #F1GPCanada. You can also follow our publications on our official Instagram page @f1gpcanada.
